During the 2017 Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) process, the County of Lewis applied for and was awarded $297,000 in Local Government Efficiency Implementation funding from NYSDOS to examine current public water systems and their ability to treat and transmit additional supply in the central part of the county. As a result of this study, the participating municipalities will receive the tools and analysis needed to move forward with water infrastructure projects that benefit economic development activity, both resident and commercial, within their towns. The Lead Engineering Professional Consultant assigned to this project is Miller Engineers.
