Mission Statement
It is the mission of Lewis County Office for the Aging and NY Connects: Your Link to Long Term Services and Supports to provide services to all Lewis County older adults in need. This will be accomplished through advocacy and the development of a service delivery system at the local level. The Office for the Aging works with federal, state, local officials; older constituents; service providers; and the private/volunteer sector to coordinate existing services and stimulate new ones. The Office for the Aging prepares a multi-year plan with annual updates to identify the needs and services; and set objectives and priorities which will accommodate the needs of our older adults.
