Mission Statement

It is the mission of Lewis County Office for the Aging and NY Connects to link long term services and supports to provide services to all Lewis County older adults in need.

We will accomplish this through advocacy and the development of a service delivery system at the local level.

The Office for the Aging works with federal, state, local officials; older constituents; service providers; and the private/volunteer sector to coordinate existing services and stimulate new ones.

The Office for the Aging prepares a multi-year plan with annual updates to identify the needs and services; and set objectives and priorities which will accommodate the needs of our older adults.
